Machine Polished Edges
providing a safe and professional finish to our products.
Toughening
Improving both Impact and Thermal resistance, and should our Toughened items be
broken, they break into small safe to handle pieces as opposed to large sharp shards of broken glass.
Legally all Toughened glass must display a Toughening Mark to provide details of its origin and standard -
On 4mm Thick glass this can be found on the surface.
Accuracy
We produce our products within the industry's standard tolerance of +/- 2mm.

Our website calculates available delivery dates based on the amount of time required to manufacture your
order.
Deliveries take place using third party courier delivery services. Once we have completed manufacturing your
order, we dispatch your order in one of the following ways depending on the option you have
selected at the Delivery stage:
Tuffnells (Boxed)
Orders leave us on the working day prior to your selected delivery date in suitable glass packaging.
Tracking information along with contact details for the courier company are provided on the evening that the
order is dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched and is in the courier's possession, any changes to
delivery arrangements should be made with them directly.
If you are unable to be present during delivery and the item ordered does not require additional help for
unloading (this is prompted and confirmed during the order process), a note for the courier can be left in
both the Shopping Cart message box and as a note on the Door of the delivery address.
Tuffnells Service Options
8am to 6pm - This is an Economy service and results in the courier delivering the order at an unspecified time between 8am and 6pm depending on delivery route and work load. On the day of delivery this time still cannot be specified by Tuffnells.
12:00 Express - This is a Premium service that ensures the courier will make the delivery before 12:00 Midday.
10:30 Express - This is a Premium service that ensures the courier will make the delivery before 10:30am.
9:30 Express - This is a Premium service that ensures the courier will make the delivery before 9:30am.
Fragilistics
Fragilistics are a specialist delivery company of fragile goods, making them an ideal Glass courier.
Once Fragilistics have collected your order from us, they will contact you to co-ordinate your delivery with
you.
Maximum Limits of this Delivery method:
Maximum Glass Thickness : 7mm
Maximum Glass Weight : 40kg
Maximum Glass Dimensions : 2700mm x 1580mm
Our website confirms whether the item you are specifying is beyond any of these limits and disables the
delivery option should that be the case.
Orders delivered by Fragilistics do not require packaging as specialist glass delivery vehicles are used.
Important Info (All Delivery Types)
Due to the nature of manufacturing bespoke products, we may need to delay a dispatch of an item should it
fail Quality Control. In these instances, we will remake the item and inform the customer of a delay and
provide a range of currently available delivery dates.
Customers should receive and check their orders are correct and undamaged before arranging any installation
or follow up works. Glasstops UK does not accept any responsibility should this recommendation not be
followed.
As per standard policy for delivery courier services, deliveries are made to the building entrance of the
delivery address provided.
Q. Is the Glass Toughened?
A. We Toughen all of our glass as standard. The only exception to this is when the size of the glass falls
below 300mm x 300mm.
Q. My Window is an irregular shape, how can i order this?
A. For more complex shapes, the best method is to produce a template in order for us to replicate the design in glass. For more information on this, see our Glass to Template page:
