Glass Components and Parts we Manufacture and Machine

We have years of experience producing difficult to manufacture glass products, producing items beyond the standard machining limitations with the use of custom fixtures & tooling. We can work to a very low tolerance, by ensuring we are machining the item in question using the optimum method & process.

Our factory features both 5 Axis CNC Workcentres & a 5 Axis CNC Waterjet among our standard CNC equipment, giving us the widest range of machining capabilities available when it comes to engineering instrument glass or glass components.

We cater for both "One-off" and volume / batch production requirements. Once we have produced the CAD / CAM data of the components, we can recall and reproduce the part on demand.

Precision

We can work to very low tolerances to produce a very accurate glass product while optimizing both the tooling used and the CAM programming to reduce machining time, keeping the glass as cost effective as possible.

Should high accuracy not be required, we can instead optimize our processing to produce the required glass product in the least amount of time possible to provide the lowest cost.

Products

We produce a range of glass components which include but are not limited to the following:

Prototyping

We are happy to work with customers to provide solutions to their glass requirements. Firstly we look at the design and decide on the best way to approach manufacturing the product. Then we will discuss changes to the design should there be an issue with the initial design or a significant cost saving to be made by the customer. Lastly we then test our method by producing a prototype part for the customer to approve.

Get in Touch

If you have a glass requirement you would like us to produce, even if other processing companies have told you your product is unachievable, then do not hesitate to Contact Us. Ideally we prefer to work with DXF Cad drawings but can accept most commonly used formats or even diagrams or templates should CAD drawings be unavailable.
