Templated Shapes
Templates are a great way of accurately capturing a shape you wish to have produced in glass. Typically this is best achieved by overlaying lining paper on to the shape / into the space you want the glass to occupy, then tracing and cutting the shape out allowing for a final check or test fit before proceeding.
Template Materials
Templates must be made from one of the following materials to ensure it can be replicated accurately:
- Lining Paper / Wall Paper
- Wood - Ply / MDF
Send us your Template
A template can be posted or couriered directly to our Office / Factory using the address below.
- Cut the template to shape - This is required in order for us to replicate the template in glass. This is not a step we can undertake as to prevent the risk of inaccurate reproduction.
- Mark the Exposed Face / Surface - This step is only important when specifying glass that has a different surfaces, such as Mirror, Painted / Image Printed Glass and Frosted Glass.

Send us your Diagram
We are happy to work from Diagrams, whether they are hand drawn or otherwise, so long as they are clear and contain the dimensions needed to recreate the design accurately.
Should we receive a diagram that is unclear in some way, we would simply get in touch with the customer in order to get clarification before proceeding. This may have a small impact on leadtime, but ultimately ensures the customer receives their glass as they expect in the shortest amount of time possible.
